Gregory passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 32, leaving behind family, friends, fellow fishermen, and fans who remember him for his dedication, kindness, and adventurous spirit. Gregory served as a crewman on the Wizard from 2018 to 2022, earning the respect of his fellow fishermen through his hard work, resilience, and commitment to the demanding world of Bering Sea crab fishing. His connection to the vessel and its crew was recognized with a heartfelt tribute at the close of the July 17 episode, when Discovery Channel dedicated the broadcast to his memory.
