Edward Hall Missing Katy, TX – Authorities Search for Missing 5-Year-Old Last Seen in Fort Bend County

Authorities in Fort Bend County, Texas, are seeking the public’s help in locating 5-year-old Edward Hall, who was reported missing early Sunday morning. A Texas AMBER Alert has been issued as law enforcement continues efforts to find the child and ensure his safe return home.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Edward was last seen around 5:00 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of Ryans Rock Court in Katy, Texas, an area located approximately 30 miles west of downtown Houston. Officials have not yet released additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Investigators have stated that there is currently no evidence indicating foul play. However, authorities are treating the case with urgency and are asking community members to remain alert while they work to confirm Edward’s location and safety.

Edward Hall is described as a 5-year-old Black boy with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 4 feet 1 inch tall and weighs around 80 pounds. At the time he was last seen, Edward was reportedly wearing a black-and-blue Elmo shirt, black shorts, and no shoes.

Law enforcement officials are encouraging residents in Katy, Fort Bend County, and surrounding communities to carefully check nearby areas where Edward may be located. Authorities are asking people to examine yards, garages, neighborhoods, security camera footage, and any other places that could provide helpful information.

Officials emphasize that even a small detail or observation could assist investigators in bringing Edward home safely.
